St. Chad's Church, Coseley | 21.9.19
The concert at St Chard's church was with the Wulfruna Ladies Choir.
What an amazing evening again at St Chad's church. The City of Wolverhampton Brass Band just keep getting better and better. The evening was very well supported and well received in a brilliant atmosphere which built up nicely to the 'Proms'. Both the choir and the band were amazing.

St. Chad's Church, Coseley | 20.9.17
The concert at St. Chads Church was with the Wulfruna Ladies Choir.
In the first half The City of Wolverhampton Brass Band, fresh from their successful performance in Brassed Off at the Grand Theartre, entertained the audience with an excellent rendering of music from the play.
The second half took the form of 'The Last Night of the Proms' giving the audience a great oportunity to join in with singing and flag waving.
An enjoyable evening with a very talented band.

Brassed Off, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre | August 2017
What really brings the show to life is the live brass band that create a phenomenal sound, which is performed by the (City of) Wolverhampton Brass Band. Both the brass band and the community actors who join the production in the ensemble fit seamlessly into the show, making the productions impeccably polished.

It's almost 40 years since Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre presented its own in-house production, but at last audiences are being treated to a full-scale professional show with community involvement. ~ Add the outstanding City of Wolverhampton Brass Band, who soared through traditional pieces, and the whole production feels like the perfect combination of home-grown talent and professionalism.
